Back AGAIN

Here I am in Atlanta. Life has returned to normal. . .wait a minute, no it hasn't. Dang it. In a week I will be in China. WOOT!! Hopefully, though, I'll be packed by tomorrow night so I can ship my crap on Monday, and then leave on Wednesday. I'm excited, but I don't know how I'm going to get it all done. So bye.

Sorry this post is so negative. I'm tired of America. And I have to drive it FOREVER tomorrow. seriously--17 hours. I might stop. we'll see.

Why am I doing this to myself? So many goodbyes in so little time. I don't even have time to hurt properly over the last people I say goodbye to, before I move on to the next. Is this the way my life will be forever? Isn't there anything else?
Is Libs right? do I mostly tend to be this way after having a drink? nooooo. . .I think it just comes out more. I don't know. Anyways. I need to sleep so I can drive for ever tomorrow.

Crazy Times. Saturday I drove for 15 hours, shaving a good 37 minutes off of the mapquest time. i know, i know, not very fast. But I really wasn't in the mood to get pulled over, and i wasn't in that huge of a hurry. however, my proud part was the fact that i only stopped 3 times. Once, for gas and lunch, Once for gas and to use the ladies room, and once to use the ladies room and get dinner. So you see. I got reaaally good gas mileage. i'd really thought that i would have to stop 3 times for gas, but i didn't. so cool. I'll have to fill up before going to boston though, and stop again on the way there.
Well, Austin is getting into all sorts of trouble, now that he's dumped out at least two puzzles. He also took off his pants, so i guess i should just put on his swimsuit and take him outside.

Well, now I've found that I can post blogs through my wireless connection now too. However, I still can't look at my blog. . .kind of absurd. Oh well, I'll stop at Panera for dinner tomorrow or something and I can look there.
I'm tired of my conference, and basically I'm just tired. I've had fun meeting people, but now I just want to leave this little bubble, and go out into the world. Well, ok, so I spent 4 hours out in the world yesterday, 3 of them waiting for them to work on my car. When I went in, they said it should take like, 30 minutes. Riiight. They didn't even START on my car for an hour. I was really kind of annoyed. Anyways. I walked around to every shop within walking distance. I bought shoes. I bought shoes for Anjuli. I almost bought a shirt. I think I might go back and buy it this afternoon, now that I've thought of three or four things to wear it with. So I'm excited. But then I went back to the shop, and they still weren't done, but they were like, oooh, soon, don't worry. So I sat down and waited for them to put the tires back on my car. And then they were done with that, and they moved my car to the alignment machine and they were like, well, in 15 minutes or so. By this time it was almost 6:30 and I was STARVING. So I walked across the street to Burger King, since that was the only fast food in sight. I sat down and ate my onion rings and burger, and then I went back across, and they were just pulling my car down and around. So I got back here late for the talent show, but I don't think I missed anything great. Anyways. Then most of our China group played card games, Set and Skip-Bo. It was fun. So then I got 8 hours of sleep, before having to get up and go to sessions all day again.
I'm tired.
I'm going to attach some pictures to this post--well, I'm going to try. The redhead is my new partner in crime, Camille. The cute kid was entertaining me at the baseball game--what can I say, we were BORED. And then my favorite fireworks picture from Tuesday. WOOT!! That was the real reason I went to the baseball game, so that I could see the fireworks afterwords. So yeah.

Out of Service

Hey peoples. . .I know I've disappeared for a while. I'm at a PFO (Pre-Field Orientation) thing close to Memphis, and for some reason their wireless blocks blogspot. I didn't realize however, that the computers in the labs could get there. (Go Figure!) The only reason I even came in here was so that I could print off a paper that I wrote last night that's due in a couple hours. Anyways. I'm doing well, I really enjoyed the first week a lot, but I'm kind of at burnout now. So it's good that there are only 2 more days. So I'm tired and a bit cranky, and I think actually I should leave to go downstairs for another session. So yeah. But now that I know this is here, I may return later. Hopefully though, i'm going to go run errands this afternoon, and get my oil changed, and some passport photos, and some money orders. It's a long, complicated process. But whatever.
